Campus Guides/Ambassador at Lake Tahoe Community College
Class of 2019
Hometown: Copperbelt, Zambia
Secondary Major: Computer Engineering
Since joining LTCC, I have a become a more confident outgoing and determined person.Participating in different clubs, working as an ambassador, and being involved with campus life put me in new situations that required me to open up. I started off as a very shy and quiet person and being on this campus has changed me for the better.
A lot of people might say that the location is what makes LTCC different but if you ask me I'd say it's the staff and faculty. But yes, the location is an added bonus. The staff here at LTCC are kind and helpful creating a great atmosphere to work and learn in. Instructors are very passionate about their subjects and are always there to help students succeed. When you're campus, you feel like everyone is routing for you to succeed.
My favorite class is Calculus with Dr. Larry Green.
I chose to study at LTCC because as an international student, it was the most affordable option for me. I chose to stay because of the location, instructors, and small class sizes.
