Campus Guides/Ambassador at Lake Tahoe Community College
Class of 2019
Hometown: Dallas, TX
Secondary Major: Integrative Biology
Being a Coyote has helped me to grow as a student and also an individual. During my first day, I was extremely nervous about starting a new school after taking a gap year but I quickly learned that I felt more at home on this campus than I ever did at my previous school. This community has continually supported me and encouraged me to become a more engaged member of society and I feel so fortunate to be a Coyote.
My favorite class is Chemistry and Biology. I especially enjoyed organic chemistry.
I choose LTCC because I was looking to continue my education and to ease back into going to college. Initially, I only thought I would be at LTCC for one quarter. Once I started to become so involved with the courses and appreciative of the amazing instructors, I decided to continue my education here.
LTCC is more than just a place to take classes. This school cares about the growth of their students and the success of learning. My professors here have each gone above and beyond to help me understand the content and to make sure that I get the most out of the courses.
